8/1/09 - D day (Driving Test)!!

reach home at 2.30am on thur morning..
woke up at 5++ am on the same morning
conclusion: 2.30hr++ of sleep only

went out slightly early today to grab breakfast there
reached gombak mrt at 7.15,
went to 7-11 first to get a can of latte to boost myself for the next 2 hrs
then went to e bakery shop and got 2 bun
waited for Mr Tan to arrive and started eating

Mr Tan was slightly late, arrived at 7.40
but nvm, prepared myself by re-position the seat, mirror
moved off shortly and there my first mistake
at the stop line, i stepped on the brake slightly hard..
but he said nvm, i need to warm up

went to the multi story carpark again,
did slope, parallel, vertical parking and directional change
till around 8.10am+ where we head to bbdc for my test at 8.25
was slightly behind time, so Mr Tan took over the wheels
and there i was able to observe him, driving.

reached bbdc at 8.21 n i went to the testing area to wait for my tester.
guess wad? i got test route 8 and a malay tester
greeted the tester but think my voice wasn't too loud!!
went to my instructor's Toyota Vios and "act" a little
by checking and adjusting the mirror a little bit more.

circuit was pretty ok, no major mistakes and the tester give ample time
by telling me where to turn first.
S course, Crank course, Vertical Parking, Parallel Parking, Directional Change, Slope and Emergency Brake, all did nicely.
the funny thing is when the tester hit the dashboard, meaning emergency brake,
i hit the brake hard follow by clutch in.
then i asked him, ok? hahahaha
but when he said move off, i forgot to signal right and check blindspot..
luckily nth happen

finally went out of circuit to my test route
quite a lot of car outside bbdc,
finally when no more car at the right, i turned left wif signal
but guess i didn't check my blindspot!
started to filter to right to prepare turning right at the junction ahead.
slowed down a little, hard to filter with the cars coming.
was soooo lucky that the traffic light junction juz turn green for right turning vehicle when i'm approaching.
Did as usual, from the 3 lane road after the junction where i am at the right most lane, don't care anything, accelerate, signal then safety check then filter.
All seems smooth sailing even till tech whye.
one thing which is more supprising is that my moving off is very very smooth that day. earlier before during warm up, my moving off was still slightly slow.

then came a test, a NTUC lorry stopped at a dual one lane carriageway
which means i need to overtake in over to continue as stopping is not a option as the lorry was unloading and if i really did stop, 2 points would be awarded for stopping..
so signal right, move my body slightly forward to see if its safe to proceed
overtake and was very careful about the 1 door length side clearance
then signal left and move back, very pretty and swift ^^
nothing much of a problem for the journey
but when heading back to bbdc, got another test
this time by a impatient van driver.
i turn at a slip road to the left most lane,
then i signal right and wanted to change lane cuz entrance to bbdc is juz ahead
then the van driver behind me accelerate and move to the right lane
at tis time, i was already accelerating to filter the lane
but if i were to juz cut in, confirm kanna points
so no choice, depress the brake cuz i was on third gear
and then lower the gear to 2, slowly move to the entrance lor

guess it was another great performance ^^
when turning right to bbdc, my moving off became not smooth!!
insufficient acceleration cuz engine to vibrate
not once, but twice! but think the tester to happy wif me
so close 1 eye and i nv kanna any points

so final conclusion? i PASSED my TP with only TEN points kekekekekekekeke
