crap.. i'm going out of town this sat to malaysia for a day and of course this isn't crappy. as my passport was issued on 2001, the photo used was of course my 2001 photo (nothing to do with the validity) so yes it doesn't resemble me 100%. wad i do then was to go all e way down from pionner mrt to lavandar mrt juz to know that ica doesn't update the photo of e passport anymore. thus should i pass malaysia immigration and the officer doesn't recognise me then thats it. i'll be a goner.

i don't understand the rationale behind the termination of updating of photos to a recent one. everyone changes and let alone our looks so if we intend to update our photo, we have to re-apply for a new passport. isn't this crazy? a new bio-metric passport cost $70 bucks for 10 years and i still have a 2 years validity so isn't this to our disadvantage as e earlier fee for my current passport isn't fully utilize. maybe its due to technical difficulties? tats the only thing i can think of.
